Ok- so, I'm not mad at God anymore. He has decided to bless me with another child, FINALLY! So, I get to hang on the diaper bag a little longer. God likes to test my patience- he has already done it once with Maddie and did it again with B2. Please God- I'll be good and please don't do it again. I'm already married to Daniel and that in itself takes alot of patience. (I do love Daniel dearly)
(Yes, B2 is the current name of baby in my belly until we find out what it is)
Yes, I am a bad mommy. This is the first time I'm blogging about B2 and sharing my experience with the internet world.
We are super excited and scared to death. I know we can manage 2, people do it every day. It is just managing another Bessada/Kostreba Baby.
We do find out in 5 days what I am carrying. Maddie thinks it is a puppy and has no interest in moving thing in Mommy's Belly. I have 20 more weeks to prepare and to get her ready. I think she will do fine.
Daniel and I want another girl. Daniel thinks it is a girl and I think it is a boy. One of us will be right. I just think Daniel will have to start drinking hard liquor again if it is a girl.
Pregnancy observations over the last 20 weeks:
The cravings are crazy. With Maddie, I could have eaten the same 5 things for 9 months straight. B2- I have to have it when I want it. I can't count the number of times Daniel had already been sent out of the house to get something.
Hot stuff- I can't eat it hot enough.
Sleeping sucks. I can't get comfortable- also not a problem with Maddie.
Ice cold water and ice- my water can't be cold enough.
Diet Coke- I want to drink it all the time. But, don't' allow myself for obvious reasons.
I'm at the same weigh at the same time as I was with Maddie. Which, means I'll get huge and not gain too much weight.
Cereal- I have 7 boxes in my pantry. None of which Daniel likes. Pregnancy makes me crave cereal. I eat it 3 times a day and Maddie loves it.
I'm 10 times more emotional. I cry at everything. I am refusing to watch any Hallmark or Publix commercial this holiday season.
Back rubs- I can't get Daniel to give me enough of them, with Maddie it was foot rubs. Must have been because of the heels I would wear to work.
Heartburn- I have had none. I have a huge worry that I'm carrying a Bessada and it is going to come out bald.
Stay tuned and I will soon know the sex of this next bundle of joy!

First day of School
Ok- so I decided Maddie was going to Pre-School. She is a social butterfly and a sponge for knowledge. I had been with her for 2 years trying to teach her things and knew it was time for someone else to educate my child.
Preparations for Pre-School-
Back to school shopping. Even at almost 2, she needed the perfect outfit to wear. She had to make a good first impression. I could have shopped for days, but Daniel had to cut me off.
We talked to Maddie about school, meeting new friends and about her teachers. I also was trying to prepare myself emotionally. (I have left Maddie over night and with sitters before. So this should have been easy.
Night before school-
Maddie got a bath and her hair blow dried (she loves this). We laid out her clothes and she tells me what she wants for breakfast the next day.
First day of School-
We are all up and dressed. Maddie is looking a precious little princess and seems to be excited about school. Daniel comes with me or drop Maddie off for emotional support. As we walk her into school- I lose it. I am already crying, luckily Maddie isn't even looking at me. We get to her classroom, the teacher takes Maddie and says, "Thanks Daniel" I guess she didn't want me to cry anymore. Maddie cried a little, but I found out it didn't last long once she got to do Spin Art. So, I continue to cry my way out of Pre-School with all the other Mommies.
The 3 hours away from Maddie were the longest 3 hours. I was ready to see her and see how her day went.
I pick her up and she is super excited to see me. She babble the whole way home. I think she was so excited words weren't coming out.
Moral of the story- I don't know how I'm ever going to make it through Kindergarten.

My New Hobbies
All revolve around Maddie.
I get bored and like to start (and finish) projects.
First, I decided to paint Maddie's playroom. Her room needed some personality and a room to grown in over the years. I decided needed it to be gender neutral, just in case God decided I was worthy of another kid. (this is a completely different topic for a time that I'm not hormonal) I sent Maddie off to her Mammy's (my momma's) for some R&R and to be spoiled her pants off. I finished the room in 2 days. See my FB page for the final product.
Second, I am taking up photography, maybe to an intermediate level . Got a great camera and took some classes.
Here is my new favorite pic and she is pretty darn cute- if I do say so myself.

So people, get use to it. All my pictures will be of Maddie. In one day alone I took 100 pics. I was playing with the camera, trying to use all my photography class knowledge. As soon as I ship Maddie off to Pre-School, I plan on learning to edit my pictures.
Last is Maddie's Big Girl bed. I had to take it a step too far. This was my daybed through high school and college. (Maddie will never know the stories of that bed) I have decided to paint it from wood color to white. What the hell am I thinking? This project is going to take me forever (meaning 2 weeks). I'll post pics of her new bed when ever I finish.
But, next time I say I want to paint a bed, tell me to go to Ikea and build a bed.
The moral of this story is that Martha Stewart needs to move over. Lelok is taking over.

My new Toy
I have wanted a new camera for a while, but couldn't justify buying one since mine still worked. Well, it broke- or should I say- Maddie broke it. And I whined enough to Daniel that he gave in and bought me the Mac Daddy Camera I have been wanting for awhile now.
I love the camera but have no idea how to use it. OK, I do know how to use it. But I want to know how to use everything that it offers . I don't want to have to pay anyone to take pictures any more.
Here is one of my favorites that I have recently taken:

I take my first class in a few weeks and can't wait to see my results and progress.
Things I thought I'd never have to say as a parent........
Maddie get that fork out of your diaper.
(she was trying to hide it from me so she wouldn't have to eat breakfast)

My Ashton Experience Part 2
Day 4- The final day. I meet another neighbor, who has now decided to join in on the hype, and we walk to where the action is. As we are waiting Ashton’s cars goes by, we lock eyes and I know he is now considering leaving Demi for me. I am thinking on how to break the news to Daniel. Later, Daniel has decided to join me. I know what you are thinking “What about Maddie? She is sleeping and my sister is watching her. I’m not bad of a parent.” We ended up at a friend’s house in their bedroom and we tape this:
(I couldn't get it to download here. Just click the link.)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB3AHsfgTeE
(enjoy the background conversation) It’s Ashton, Katherine, their body doubles and a Scene.
After all is said and done, I’m glad I got to join in the hype and I’m glad it is over. Now, we just have to wait and see if the short scene makes the final cut.

My Ashton Experience
Ok- I had to become a celebrity stalker for a few days. A scene from Five Killers with Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl was being taped in my neighborhood. Yes, I said in my neighborhood of little ole Woodstock, GA. The movie was being taped in 2 of my friends yards. And I was going to try my hardest to be apart of this.
Any way here is how it down for a few days with me.
Day 1- Taping in postponed due to rain. Will continue in 2 days.
Day 2- I head to Rome for a dance recital. I get a phone call from a friend saying the taping was going to start that night. I rush home at 1030pm, get Maddie to bed, kiss Daniel, grab a glass of wine, mett my neighbor and we're off to meet some of our other friends. Well, it is one block from my house- I find my friends (security is pretty loose this night) and it begins to rain. I'm not concerned about getting wet, but my wine getting watered down. I only last and hour before I head home.
Day 3- I'm ready to see some Ashton! I have a chilled bottle of wine and some snacks. My friend Pam meets me at the house, I kiss Maddie and daniel and I'm off, again. We get to the loccation and sercuirty is a pain in the butt. Pam calls a friend and we are now in her backyard. Pam got some great close ups. (We have decided to quit our day jobs to become paparazzi.)

I call it a night around 1230- my feet hurt and my back is tired. I was happy that I got to see Ashton and Katherine through the fences.
